Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
• Strong electrical installation industry experience
• Experience as Electrician, Approved Electrician or Electrical Supervisor
• Interest in renewable technologies and ongoing professional development
• Strong communication and mentoring skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver Electrical Installation training to apprentices and industry learners
• Support both practical workshop sessions and classroom-based learning
• Assess learner progress and provide guidance and support
• Deliver apprenticeship programmes alongside specialist commercial training courses
• Gain training in Solar PV, Battery Storage, EV Charging and Inspection & Testing
• Full teaching and assessor training provided
• Monday to Friday position based in Wakefield

This role would suit an experienced Electrician who enjoys mentoring others and wants to build a long-term career in education. Teaching experience is not required, as full teacher training, assessor qualifications and training in emerging technologies will be provided.
