Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Installation Lecturer for a long-term 6-12 month contract in Bath. The role offers an immediate start and an opportunity for temp-to-perm for the next curriculum year.

You will deliver theory and practical sessions, assess learners toward NVQ and apprenticeship standards, and provide coaching to help apprentices progress. The position suits industry professionals transitioning into education.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation.
• Industry experience in Electrical Installation or related field.
• Teaching qualification (PGCE/Cert Ed/Level 5 DET) and/or TAQA/A1/D32/D33 preferred.
• Able to obtain an enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging theory and practical sessions for electrical installation.
• Assess and support apprentices toward NVQ and apprenticeship standards.
• Coach, mentor and provide constructive feedback to learners.
• Cover teaching and workplace-based support as required.

Electrical Installation Lecturer

£40 - £55 per hour + 6 - 12 Month Contract + Immediate Start + Long-Term Opportunity

Commutable from Bristol, Swindon, Wiltshire, Shepton Mallet and surrounding areas.

Are you an experienced Electrical Installation Lecturer, Tutor, Trainer or Assessor looking for your next immediately available contract role, offering a long-term 6-12 month assignment within a well-established college?

Do you have experience within Further Education, apprenticeships or technical training, or are you an Electrical Installation professional with strong industry experience looking to move into education and pass on your knowledge to the next generation?

On offer is the opportunity to support apprentices and learners working towards their qualifications through high-quality delivery and assessment, with a role covering both teaching and workplace-based support depending on programme needs.

You will deliver engaging theory and practical sessions, carry out assessments aligned to NVQ and apprenticeship standards, and provide coaching and constructive feedback to help learners progress and achieve.

This role would suit an Electrical Installation professional or Lecturer looking for a long-term contract position where you can make a real impact within a supportive education environment.

The Role:

The Person:

• Teaching qualification (PGCE/Cert Ed/Level 5 DET) and/or assessing awards (TAQA/A1/D32/D33) preferred but not essential
• Able to obtain an Enhanced DBS check
