Job summary

Position 1 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrical Installation Engineer to join a small engineering team. You will assemble, install and test bespoke control panels and control systems, travelling across the UK as required.

The role is full-time with regular travel and accommodation/expenses provided. A CSCS card is desirable, with 2 years' electrical engineering experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical installation, assembly and cable termination.
• Able to read wiring schematics and layout drawings.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Experience with trunking, conduit and electrical installations.
• Basic mechanical skills.
• Health & Safety, Risk Assessments and Method Statements knowledge.
• Willing to obtain a CSCS card.
• Within commuting distance of the required location.
• Comfortable working at height and travelling throughout the UK.

Responsibilities

• Join a small engineering team working on the assembly, installation and testing of bespoke electrical control panels and control systems.
• Travel regularly across the UK for site work.
• Commit to full-time, Monday to Friday work and maintain high workmanship standards.

Key Requirements

• Experience in electrical installation, assembly and cable termination.
• Ability to read wiring schematics and layout drawings.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Experience with trunking, conduit and electrical installations.
• Basic mechanical skills.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety, Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
• Comfortable working at height and travelling throughout the UK.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and high standard of workmanship.
• Willing to obtain a CSCS card.
• Within commuting distance of the required location.

Desirable

• Experience building and testing control panels.
• Clean UK driving licence.
• Electrical Engineering qualification.

Additional Information
