Job summary

MTrec Ltd Technical in the United Kingdom is seeking an Electrical Build/Installation Engineer to join a growing engineering client. The role involves a day shift pattern of 37.5 hours, building and wiring specialist equipment, and following panel layouts and schematics.

You will contribute to construction/assembly of multiple bay enclosures, wiring/assembly, and cable management with termination. The candidate should be time-served with relevant qualifications and willing to travel across the

Qualifications

• Time served preferred.
• City and Guilds/BTEC or equivalent qualifications.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Apprentice trained.

Responsibilities

• Build and wire specialist equipment.
• Follow panel layouts and schematics.
• Assemble and construct multi-bay enclosures.
• Wire devices including cable management and termination.
• Crimping, looming, and cable marking.
• Use hand tools and power tools.
• UK-wide site work.

The Company

Our client is a leading Engineering company. Due to growth, they are now looking for an Electrical Build/Installation Engineer.

The Role

• Will be working a day shift pattern 37.5 hours.
• Building and wiring of specialist equipment.
• Following panel layout, schematics diagrams and reading engineering drawings.
• Construction/assembly of multiple bay enclosures.
• Wiring/assembly.
• Wiring of electrical devices including cable management and termination.
• Involving crimping, looming, cable marking, etc.
• Experience with use of hand tools and power tools.
• Will involve UK wide site work.

The Person

• Preferably time served.
• Relevant City and Guilds/BTEC or other applicable qualifications.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Self-disciplined and reliable.
• Excellent inter-personnel communication skills.
• Enthusiastic, determined, self-disciplined and reliable.
• Apprentice trained.
