Job summary

MTrec Limited is seeking an Electrical Build/Installation Engineer for a day shift pattern of 37.5 hours. You will build and wire specialist equipment, follow panel layouts, schematics and engineering drawings, and contribute to the construction of multiple bay enclosures.

The role involves wiring of electrical devices with cable management and termination, crimping, looming and cable marking, using hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• Time-served preferred.
• City and Guilds/BTEC or equivalent qualifications.
• Experience in a similar role.
• Self-disciplined and reliable.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Apprentice trained.

Responsibilities

• Build and wire specialist equipment.
• Follow panel layouts, schematics and drawings.
• Construct and assemble multiple bay enclosures.
• Wire electrical devices with cable management and termination.
• Crimping, looming, cable marking, etc.
• UK-wide site work using hand and power tools.

The Company

Our client is a leading Engineering company. Due to growth, they are now looking for an Electrical Build/Installation Engineer.

The Role

• Will be working a day shift pattern 37.5 hours.

• Building and wiring of specialist equipment.

• Following panel layout, schematics diagrams and reading engineering drawings.

• Construction/assembly of multiple bay enclosures.

• Wiring/assembly.

• Wiring of electrical devices including cable management and termination.

• Involving crimping, looming, cable marking, etc.

• Experience with use of hand tools and power tools.

• Will involve UK wide site work.

The Person

• Preferably time served.

• Relevant City and Guilds/BTEC or other applicable qualifications.

• Previous experience in a similar role.

• Self-disciplined and reliable.

• Excellent inter-personnel communication skills.

• Enthusiastic, determined, self-disciplined and reliable.

• Apprentice trained.
