Job summary

The Recruitment Fix is seeking an Installation Electrician/Engineer to join an established Heywood-based client. You will install and supervise control systems at customer sites across the UK, ensuring compliance with IET 18th Edition and safety standards.

You will build/commission electrical systems, conduct tests, and maintain documentation while staying mobile for UK-wide travel and overseas work where required.

Qualifications

• Must have City and Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge of IET 18th Edition Regulations.
• Inspection Testing (2391-52 or equivalent) knowledge.
• ECS Gold Card Holder.
• Experience with Commercial and Industrial Installations.
• IPAF 3A3B, IOSH Working/Managing Safely, Safety Passport SSTS/CCNSG and Asbestos Awareness.
• Must hold a UK Driving License.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installations per IET 18th Edition Regulations.
• Build electrical control systems and assist commissioning.
• Test electrical systems and document results.
• Adhere to Health and Safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with managers, supervisors and customers.

Working as part of an installation team you will be required to work at customer sites throughout the UK and oversee, fit and install various control systems.
