Job summary

Newbury College is seeking an Electrical Installation Course Leader and Lecturer to join our Construction department. You will deliver high-quality teaching across Level 2/3 electrical courses and apprenticeships, supporting learners at different stages of their electrical career within a modern construction centre.

You will assess learner work, conduct workplace assessments for apprentices, contribute to internal verification, and maintain precise records.

Qualifications

• Industry experience within Electrical Installation
• Experience of teaching or working in an educational or training environment
• Ability to mentor or coach learners across levels

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality theoretical and practical teaching across Electrical Installation programmes, including Level 2 and Level 3 adult courses and apprenticeships.
• Assess learner work, conduct workplace assessments for apprentices, and contribute to internal verification processes.
• Maintain accurate course and learner records in line with awarding body and college requirements.
• Support learner progress, provide guidance, and work closely with employers and support services.
