Job summary

Newbury College is seeking an Electrical Installation Lecturer to teach adult and apprenticeship provision within the Construction department. The role covers Level 2/3 courses, safety, wiring systems, and regulatory compliance, with workplace assessments and progress support.

The ideal candidate will hold an Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification, possess assessor/IV qualifications, and have FE or apprenticeship delivery experience. The post is fixed term with evening teaching hours.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• Assessor and Internal Verifier qualifications are required.
• Experience of teaching or training in an educational environment is essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality theoretical and practical teaching across Electrical Installation programmes.
• Assess learner work and conduct workplace assessments for apprentices.
• Contribute to internal verification processes and maintain learner records.
• Support learner progress and work with employers and colleagues.
