Job summary

PROJECT START RECRUITMENT SOLUTIONS is seeking an Electrical Inspector in the Bedford area. The role focuses on conducting EICRs in commercial and industrial settings and reporting findings with remedial actions.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of electrical installation experience, City & Guilds 2391-52, NVQ Level 3 and 18th Edition, with a valid UK driving licence. A company vehicle is provided along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical installation work and EICR delivery.
• Ability to inspect and test electrical installations in industrial settings.
• Familiar with BS 7671 and IET Wiring Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct EICRs in commercial and industrial environments.
• Inspect and test wiring, circuits, switchgear and control equipment.
• Identify defects, non-compliances, and safety hazards.
• Provide clear reports with remedial action recommendations.
• Ensure inspections comply with BS 7671 and IET Wiring Regulations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
• Communicate findings and provide technical advice to clients.
• Engage in ongoing training to enhance skills.
