Job summary

Kier Group is seeking an Electrical/ICA Engineer for the Thames Water Major Projects team based in East Hyde, Luton. You will provide LV Electrical, ICA commissioning expertise and PLC/SCADA support for large-scale water projects.

Ideal candidates will have HNC in Electrical/Electronic or Instrumentation Engineering and hands-on experience with ICA systems, Profibus networks and MCCs. A driving licence is required and there is a flexible, full-time schedule.

Qualifications

HNC in Electrical/Electronic or Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent.
Experience in ICA engineering, PLCs, HMIs, Profibus networks and SCADA installations.
Knowledge of LV motor control centres and Profibus/Modbus/Ethernet IP.
Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

Review LV Electrical and ICA documentation to ensure compliance with water industry standards.
Represent Kier at client meetings and coordination sessions with technical support.
Conduct fault finding and configuration for MCC and ICA equipment including PLCs and control panels.
Oversee installation and commissioning of Profibus DP/PA networks and support PLC software development.
Review Electrical Risk Assessments and Method Statements and approve ITPs to meet project requirements.
