Johnson Matthey Plc in the United Kingdom is launching a Graduate Engineering Program for an Electrical Engineer. You will join the Group Engineering function and receive mentorship to support progress toward Chartered Engineer status.

As an Electrical Graduate Engineer, you will contribute to production improvements, commission new plant equipment, and lead initiatives in energy, water, and emissions monitoring while growing through a global metals leader.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (Minimum 3.2 GPA).
• Geographically flexible and willing to relocate for three placements during the program.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and a drive to lead others; adaptable and positive under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build collaborative relationships to achieve results.

Job description

We currently looking for an Electrical Engineer at Johnson Matthey in our Graduate Engineering Program (GEP) as part of the Group Engineering function. The GEP supports the key capabilities of our business and the rapid professional progression of future engineers. Graduates on the GEP will undergo various technical and leadership development while completing high-priority business projects. They will be assigned a mentor to support progress towards Chartered Engineer status.

The role:

Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering field (Minimum 3.2 GPA)
• Must be geographically flexible and have a desire to relocate to any JM site for three placements for the duration of the development program and first role following the end of the program. Relocation assistance is provided to those who geographically qualify as determined by placements
• Demonstrated leadership skills and a true career aspiration to lead others is essential; must be adaptable, strive for excellence, and demonstrate a positive attitude in the face of adversity
• Strong interpersonal skills a must, coupled with a proven ability to build collaborative relationships to achieve results
