Johnson Matthey in Royston is seeking an Electrical Graduate Engineer for its Graduate Engineering Programme. You will develop engineered solutions for production, commission new plant equipment, and drive safety, sustainability and reliability improvements while receiving a mentor to support progress toward Chartered Engineer status.

Job description

Job Title: Electrical Graduate Engineer

Location: Royston

We currently looking for an Electrical Engineer at Johnson Matthey in our Graduate Engineering Programme (GEP) as part of the Group Engineering function. The GEP supports the key capabilities of our business and the rapid professional progression of future engineers. Graduates on the GEP will undergo various technical and leadership development while completing high-priority business projects. They will be assigned a mentor to support progress towards Chartered Engineer status.

The role:

Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering field (Minimum 2.1)
• Must be geographically flexible and have a desire to relocate to any JM site for three placements for the duration of the development programme and first role following the end of the programme. Relocation assistance is provided to those who geographically qualify as determined by placements
• Demonstrated leadership skills and a true career aspiration to lead others is essential; must be adaptable, strive for excellence, and demonstrate a positive attitude in the face of adversity
• Strong interpersonal skills a must, coupled with a proven ability to build collaborative relationships to achieve results
