Job summary

Facultatieve Technologies is seeking an Electrical Fitter to join the Production Team at Moor Road, Leeds. You will manufacture, install and wire electrical control panels and components from wiring drawings to build reliable equipment for our incineration and cremation systems.

Qualifications

• Follow schematic drawings to layout and wire control cabinets.
• Work on your own initiative or as part of a team.
• Electrical and/or mechanical experience and qualifications.
• Electrical NVQ 3 & VRQ / City & Guilds Qualifications / Apprenticeship in Engineering, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture brackets and fit as required.
• Install trunking to equipment as needed.
• Mount control panels and components.
• Wire and gland components using appropriate cable types.
• Adhere to safety standards and target costs while delivering accurate work.
• Understand machine design from wiring diagrams and bills of materials.
• Support production problem solving and snag final products.
