Job summary

E3 Recruitment seeks an Electrical Fitter for a Bradford-based engineering business. This permanent role offers genuine progression as the company grows, with an early start and a rewarding progression path.

Salary starts at £35,023 per annum with uplift after probation. Overtime paid at 150% through the week and double time on weekends. Benefits include a pension, holiday, healthcare, and more.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in an electrical fitter role.
• Wiring to 18th edition BS7671 and 3-phase motors.
• Installation of trunking, conduit and cable containment.

Responsibilities

• Schedule workflow according to the published production plan.
• Manufacture items from drawings with accuracy and efficiency.
• Wiring to 18th edition BS7671.
• Operate company equipment safely and in line with SOPs.
• Assist team leader to maintain safe, calibrated workshop and equipment.
• Undertake other duties as requested by line manager.

We are looking for an Electrical Fitter to work with a UK-leading, Bradford based engineering business. A permanent position that offers genuine progression and development opportunities as the company grows. Time and half through the week with DOUBLE time on weekends.

Responsibilities of the Electrical Fitter

• Ensure workflow of a product is scheduled by following the published production plan.
• Manufacture items as drawn to ensure commercial accuracy and maintain efficiency.
• Wiring to 18thedition reg BS7671
• Operate any vehicle or company equipment in a safe manner and in line with any published SOP's.
• Assist team leader to participate in an efficient workshop that complies with regulatory requirements, and ensures equipment is calibrated and safe.
• Undertake other duties linked to your role that benefit the company from time to time on the reasonable request of your line manager.

Requirements of the Electrical Fitter

• Installation of trunking, conduit, and cable containment. Installation of outdoor armoured cable glands
• 1stfix and 2nd fix accessories and building services.
• Earthing and bonding
• Wiring to 18thedition regs BS 7671
• Wiring 3-phase and single-phase motors
• Technical degree or certification Essential
• Minimum 2 years' experience working in a similar role.
