Job summary

KPJ Group is hiring an Electrical Fitter for a specialist manufacturing team based in Hyde. You will fit and wire bespoke conveyor systems for new builds, customer modifications, and on-site installations in a hands-on environment where no two days are the same.

You will read schematics, route cables, test motors/sensors, and ensure safety standards. Time-served with 18th Edition BS7671 is required; experience with conveyors is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Time-served with relevant electrical qualifications.
• Experience in electrical fitting, panel wiring, or similar hands-on electrical role.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with wiring looms and cable management.
• Understanding of industrial machinery or conveyor systems (advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Routing, fitting, and securing cables and wiring looms within machinery.
• Cable management across a range of bespoke and customer conveyor systems.
• Connecting and testing motors, sensors, and electrical components.
• Interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams to carry out installations.
• Supporting the electrical setup of both rental and customer conveyor systems.
• Conducting electrical testing and fault-finding.
• Completing wiring on pre-built control panels.
• Ensuring all work meets electrical safety standards and quality procedures.

Job description

We're hiring an Electrical Fitter to join a specialist manufacturing team based in Hyde.

In this role, you'll be working on the electrical fitting and wiring of bespoke conveyor systems - from new builds and customer modifications through to on-site installations - in a hands-on environment where no two days are the same.

• Mon - Fri | 8am - 4:30pm (37 hours)
