United Utilities is seeking an hands-on Electrical Field Service Engineer to join our production team at the Carlisle Wastewater Treatment Works. You will maintain and fault-find critical water assets, with a mix of planned maintenance and improvement work.

You will start from home with a company van, travelling to site as required. The role offers stability, development opportunities, and a standby rota (1 in 6) with standby payments where applicable.

Qualifications

• Industrial electrical maintenance experience and fault finding.
• Pumps installation, maintenance and fault diagnosis in an operational environment.
• Experience with 400V three-phase systems and motor starters.
• Fault finding and modification on control wiring and panels.
• Exposure to automated plant or process control systems.

Responsabilités

• Carrying out planned preventive maintenance and reactive electrical works.
• Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults to minimise downtime and improve asset reliability.
• Working on a range of industrial electrical systems across operational sites.
• Supporting capital and operational projects as needed.
• Working safely in confined spaces and high risk environments.
• Collaborating with internal teams and supervising electrical contractors.
• Accurately recording maintenance activities and complying with safety procedures.
• Participating in standby rota with standby payments where applicable.
