Job summary

RG Setsquare is seeking an experienced Technical/ Hard Services Manager with a strong electrical background to lead facilities operations in a large commercial environment. You will oversee frontline teams, coordinate contractors, and use your electrical expertise to guide decision-making and performance monitoring.

The role requires a hands-on leader with proven experience in supervising multi-workstream teams, enforcing health & safety standards, and delivering services to meet KPIs and client

Qualifications

• Electrical qualification or recognised electrical trade background.
• Experience progressing from electrician/engineer to supervision or management.
• Proven leadership in facilities management or commercial buildings.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety and statutory compliance.
• Experience coordinating contractors and multi-workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day facilities operations across the site.
• Provide leadership to supervisors, team leaders and frontline staff.
• Utilise electrical knowledge to support operational decisions.
• Monitor Building Management Systems and respond to alarms.
• Ensure service delivery aligns with KPIs and SLAs.
• Oversee contractor management and safety compliance.
• Lead briefings and handovers; act as client contact.
• Carry out inspections, audits and incident/record keeping.
