Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London seeks an experienced Electrical Estimator to support the preparation of electrical tenders across a varied project portfolio in London. The role offers exposure to technically complex projects, major clients and a well-established pre-construction team.

You will prepare detailed estimates, review drawings, identify risks, obtain quotations, and collaborate with design, commercial and project teams to secure high-value work.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Electrical Estimator within an M&E contractor or specialist subcontractor.
• Strong understanding of electrical building services.
• Experience estimating commercial, infrastructure or technically complex projects.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications and schedules.
• Good commercial awareness and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and competitive electrical estimates and tenders.
• Review drawings, specifications, schedules and tender documentation.
• Identify scope requirements, exclusions, risks and opportunities.
• Obtain and assess quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Carry out technical and commercial analysis of tender returns.
• Work closely with design, commercial and project teams throughout the tender process.
• Support value engineering and alternative design proposals.
• Attend tender meetings and contribute to tender presentations.
• Manage multiple tenders and ensure submissions are delivered within required deadlines.
• Support the handover of successful projects to the delivery team.
