Job summary

Elite Hire Solutions in Bromsgrove is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join its pre-construction team. You will produce accurate and competitive tenders for electrical building services on high-end residential and commercial projects.

You will review drawings, cost take-offs, obtain supplier quotes, and identify value engineering opportunities while coordinating with clients, consultants, and internal teams to win work and support project delivery.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Electrical Estimator within the Building Services or M&E sector.
• Strong technical knowledge of commercial electrical installations.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications accurately.
• Commercially aware with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Able to manage multiple tenders and work to tight deadlines.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive electrical estimates and tenders.
• Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
• Complete detailed take-offs and cost analysis.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Produce pricing schedules and tender submissions.
• Identify value engineering opportunities to maximise project profitability.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and internal teams throughout the tender process.
• Attend tender and pre-construction meetings when required.
• Support project handovers to the delivery team following successful tender awards.
