Job summary

The client Pertemps Redditch Industrial is seeking an Electrical Estimator to join their Bromsgrove team. You will analyse engineering drawings, project specifications, and single-line diagrams to produce accurate, competitive cost estimates and commercial proposals for modular electrical power distribution products.

You will bridge the gap between technical design and commercial viability, working with external contractors, consulting engineers, and internal production and sales teams to secure

Qualifications

• 2+ years of estimating experience in electrical manufacturing.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
• Strong numeracy with understanding of margins, markups and contractual terms.
• Excellent IT and administrative skills.
• Knowledge of electrical or construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and project specs to determine system requirements.
• Quantify material lengths, components and costs for bids.
• Formulate clear, accurate commercial bids and proposals.
• Collaborate with design, production and sales teams to ensure feasibility and commercial viability.
• Handover projects smoothly to management and production upon award.
