Clearpath Recruitment are looking for an Electrical Estimator to start immediately for a client in Birmingham. You will prepare accurate cost estimates for M&E projects across commercial, residential and industrial sectors and work with project teams to ensure competitive tenders.

The role requires 2+ years' M&E estimating experience, strong Excel skills and proficiency in estimating software. A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is desirable but not essential, with benefits

Competenze

2+ years' experience in M&E estimating.
Proficient in estimating software and strong Excel skills.
Knowledge of industry-standard contracts and tender processes.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Mansioni

Review drawings and specifications to prepare accurate estimates.
Prepare detailed cost breakdowns for M&E services, including labour, materials and equipment.
Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for best pricing.
Prepare tender submissions and ensure deadlines are met.
Assess project risks and propose cost-saving solutions.
Collaborate with design and project teams to align estimates with requirements.
