Job summary

Princebuild Limited is seeking a dedicated Electrical Estimator to support a wide range of commercial, retail and industrial projects valued from £10,000 to £1,000,000. Reporting to the Executive Manager, you will lead bids, tenders and estimates while continually improving estimating processes to deliver safe, efficient and profitable projects from pre-construction to handover.

Qualifications

Proven electrical estimating experience.
Ability to read drawings, specs and schedules.
Strong numerical skills and Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of electrical estimating for varied projects.
Review contract drawings, specs and schedules to prepare accurate estimates.
Collaborate with clients, their agents and site personnel to gather information.
Prepare bids, tenders and cost estimates under guidance of the Executive Manager.
Obtain and review quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
Monitor project profitability and suggest cost-saving improvements.
Assist with budgets, cost forecasts, valuations and final accounts.
Attend site meetings and support project management activities.
