BGEN Ltd is a major UK-based design and build contractor delivering value-added engineering solutions across critical industries. The role focuses on reviewing tenders, developing competitive proposals, and ensuring commercial and technical integrity throughout the bid process.

You will collaborate with internal teams and clients, attend handover meetings, and support project delivery while adhering to health and safety standards and company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Review tender opportunities and support bid/no-bid decisions, aligning with business objectives and quality standards.
• Develop accurate, competitive proposals by collaborating with internal teams, suppliers and clients to gather required information.
• Ensure proposals are clear, commercially robust and submitted for approval per company procedures.
• Support project delivery by attending handover meetings and ensuring smooth transition to the project team.
• Attend site visits to understand client needs while maintaining health and safety standards.
• Identify and escalate commercial, technical or contractual risks and record them appropriately.

What you'll be doing?

• You'll review tender opportunities and support bid/no-bid decisions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and quality standards.
• You'll develop accurate, competitive proposals by collaborating with internal teams, suppliers and clients to gather the information required.
• You'll ensure proposals are clear, commercially robust and submitted for approval in line with company procedures.
• You'll support successful project delivery by attending handover meetings and ensuring a smooth transition to the project team.
• You'll attend site visits where required to understand client needs, while maintaining high standards of health and safety.
• You'll identify and escalation any commercial, technical or contractual risks, ensuring they are appropriately communicated and recorded.

What you'll bring?

• Do you have experience with LV systems, PLCs, HMIs or SCADA systems?
• Do you have the ability to interpret client requirements across hardware and software solutions?
• Do you have strong communication and stakeholder management skills?
• Do you have experience producing cost estimates and competitive project proposals?
• Do you have proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating tools?
• Do you have a strong technical understanding of Low Voltage and/or System Integration solutions?
• Do you have experience assessing project scope, specifications and bid/no-bid opportunities?
• Do you have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills?
• Do you have the ability to manage changing priorities and work to demanding deadlines?
• Do you have a good understanding of contractual arrangements and industry best practice?
• Do you have a commitment to continuous professional development and training?
