Job summary

Mitchell Maguire Limited is recruiting a Sales Engineer – Electrical Equipment to cover East Anglia. You will drive field sales of electrical equipment, manage relationships with wholesalers and installers, and generate demand to support an area delivering circa £8m turnover.

The role involves four days on the road and one day working from home, with a focus on building warm relationships and achieving growth across the region.

Qualifications

• Field sales experience within the electrical sector.
• Proven ability to create demand with electrical installers/sub-contractors and build relationships with electrical wholesalers.
• Demonstrable track record in new business and account management.
• Personable, team player, driven and enthusiastic.

Responsibilities

• Four days on the road visiting customers, one day working from home/administration.
• 60% of time managing relationships with electrical wholesalers (90–110 on patch).
• 40% of time stimulating demand for electrical equipment through installers/sub-contractors.
• Responsible for an area achieving around £8m turnover.
• Demand generation is a key responsibility.
• Typical 4 customer visits per day.
