Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley offers a 12-month placement for students to work across design and construction teams, with exposure to real-world projects that benefit communities. This role sits within the Severn Trent Water framework, so travel within the region is expected.

You will collaborate with experienced mechanical engineers on-site and in the office, supporting projects from design to installation while developing practical skills in mechanical systems and safety.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate engineering degree.
• Willingness to travel within Severn Trent region.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with mechanical engineers on-site and in the office.
• Support design, planning, installation and maintenance of water projects.
• Develop skills in mechanical design and system analysis.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines on all projects.
