Job summary

Quest Global is seeking an Electrical Engineering Lead to work with a major dockyard facility, delivering electrical engineering support and leading a team across asset development. You will interface with the customer and Technical Authority to ensure scope, safety and compliance in all electrical aspects from design through to delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; CEng preferred.
• Experience in highly regulated industries (nuclear, maritime, infrastructure, oil & gas).
• Proven track record in scoping, designing and modifying electrical systems (LV/HV, lighting, power distribution).
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and electrical standards (IEEE, IEC).
• Strong communication, presentation, and listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customer and Technical Authority to understand requirements and provide electrical engineering support.
• Lead the Electrical Discipline, ensuring high quality delivery and capability development for the customer.
• Scope, design and modify assets or facilities based on client needs and lifecycle requirements.
• Assess and approve technical documentation addressing safety, regulatory and compliance considerations.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to align electrical designs with broader projects.
• Support installation, commissioning and testing phases as needed.
• Provide input to project documentation, risk assessments and progress reporting.
