Job summary

WSP is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Energy team across Ireland and the UK. Based in Dublin, Naas, or Belfast, you will deliver power transmission projects and support net-zero energy goals as part of a multidisciplinary group.

You will work on feasibility through detailed design, coordinate with civils and other disciplines, and provide technical oversight during construction and commissioning. A Chartered engineer or on track toward chartership is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering with significant post graduate experience in electrical design and/or operation, maintenance and testing.
• Chartered Engineer or working towards IEng/CEng and a member of a relevant Engineering Institute.
• Ability and desire to lead the development of Electrical deliverables and assess assets under construction or in operation.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical authority across protection and control engineering and support multidisciplinary integration.
• Deliver projects in Feasibility to Detailed Design stages.
• Develop electrical deliverables such as single line diagrams, cable calculations, plant layouts and bill of materials.
