WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Energy Solutions team in London, focusing on decarbonising building energy use and developing private wire networks and low‑carbon energy centres.

You will lead electrical designs (11kV and LV) from feasibility to construction, undertake site surveys, prepare drawings and reports, and collaborate with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams to deliver resilient, low‑carbon solutions.

Qualifikationen

• Relevant degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• CEng or IEng status is desirable but not essential.
• Comfortable working with internal teams and external parties.

Aufgaben

• Lead electrical designs (11kV and LV) from feasibility through to construction.
• Undertake site surveys and quality audits.
• Meet with clients and contractors on project basis under guidance.
• Produce drawings, calculations, schedules, specifications and reports.
• Survey existing facilities and develop upgrade strategies.
• Prepare feasibility studies and technical reports.
• Produce CDM risk assessments.
• Review contractor’s design submissions.
• Mentor junior engineers where appropriate.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
