Job summary

Skilled Careers is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our client’s team in the Birmingham region. You will carry out PPM schedules with fault finding across multiple sites, ensuring work is accurately recorded and compliant with health and safety procedures.

The role offers a monthly rolling contract with overtime opportunities, company van and fuel card, specialist equipment, PPE and uniform provided. Immediate start for an experienced engineer looking for a fresh challenge.

Qualifications

Recognised electrical apprenticeship or Level 3 electrical qualification.
18th Edition
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Experience with preventative maintenance systems.

Responsibilities

Complete maintenance documentation and ensure work is accurately recorded.
Ensure all activities comply with health, safety and environmental procedures.
Contribute to continuous improvement projects across the site.
Carry out planned preventative maintenance across plant and equipment.
Support installation, modification and commissioning of new electrical equipment.
Conduct building inspections and emergency lighting checks.
