Job summary

Invictus Group is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a large static healthcare site in Birmingham. The role focuses on planned and reactive maintenance on electrical systems, with emphasis on safety and statutory compliance.

The position is Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm, offering a temporary contract with a view to permanency. Immediate start available for a candidate with 3+ years in commercial building maintenance and 17th/18th edition.

Qualifications

• Must have 17th or 18th edition.
• Must have Level 3 Electrical installation.
• Minimum 3 years experience in commercial building maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the PPMs and reactive maintenance is completed.
• Work on electrical systems, lighting, emergency lighting, display lighting, sockets, switchboards, fuses, distribution, basic BMS and controls.
• Ensuring all statutory requirements are maintained.
• Assisting with general upkeep and fabric maintenance.
• This is a temporary position on a leading contract where you will be joining as an integral member of the team in order to ensure the smooth running of a large critical site.

Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Birmingham - Temp to Perm

Invictus are recruiting for an experienced electrical maintenance engineer to complete PPM and reactive maintenance on a large static healthcare site, in Birmingham. The client is looking for IMMEDIATE engineers as this position is a contract vacancy lasting a minimum of 3 months before going perm.

You will be expected to have good all round knowledge of other FM disciplines and worked on other FM/Building Services roles.

The client in question is a leading body within the facilities maintenance industry and the site being a large private healthcare facility in Birmingham.

Job Role:

The position is a Monday to Friday 7am to 3:30pm role and it will be paying up to £27 per hour.

Duties:

• Ensure the PPM's and reactive maintenance is completed
• Work on the electrical systems, lighting, emergency lighting, display lighting, sockets, switchboards, fuses, distribution, basic BMS and controls
• Ensuring all statutory requirements are maintained
• Assisting with general upkeep and fabric maintenance
• This is a temporary position on a leading contract where you will be joining as an integral member of the team in order to ensure the smooth running of a large critical site.

Skills Required:

• Electrically trained with at least 3 years experience in commercial building maintenance and services.
• Must have 17th or 18th edition
• Must have Level 3 Electrical installation
• Must be well presented with good interpersonal skills as this is a client facing role
