Job summary

Humanoid is hiring a Senior Electrical Serviceability Engineer to own the electrical and electronics dimension of serviceability for our humanoid robots. You will ensure power distribution, batteries, wiring, sensors, and compute are designed for easy maintenance in the field and repair center.

You will validate procedures, define safe isolation, and drive diagnostic content while coordinating between Services and R&D to support scalable serviceability across the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Electrical or electronics engineering background with hands‑on experience diagnosing and repairing complex electromechanical products.
• Strong grasp of power distribution, battery systems, wiring harnesses, sensors and actuator electronics from maintainability standpoint.
• Confident reading schematics and wiring diagrams, using electrical test equipment and defining safe‑isolation and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Design‑for‑Serviceability experience: connectorisation, diagnostic access, fault isolation, modularity.
• Field‑first, safety‑first mindset for technician with limited time/tools.
• Comfort working across BOM hierarchy from full‑robot diagnosis to board‑level repair.

Responsibilities

• Own Design-for-Serviceability for electrical and electronics: drive accessibility, connectorisation, safe isolation, and low‑skill field‑executability.
• Define and validate electrical repair, rework, and replacement procedures at the correct BOM level across power distribution, batteries, harnesses, sensor/actuator electronics, and compute.
• Specify diagnostic points, test equipment, and safe‑isolation/lockout procedures for servicing electrical systems.
• Define electrical diagnostic content in the Digital Shadow platform, localising faults in the BOM.
• Lead electrical input to Service FMEA and feed serviceability requirements back into design.
• Support NSI for electrical scope and act as single entry from Services to R&D for escalations.
