Job summary

P Blackhall Ltd in Edinburgh is seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer / Electrician for a full-time, on-site role. You will carry out domestic and commercial electrical installations, maintenance and repair work while delivering a high standard of workmanship.

The position offers opportunities to work across solar PV, battery storage, EV charging and other renewable projects, with training provided to develop new skills within the renewables portfolio.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified electrician with domestic and/or commercial experience.
• Strong knowledge of current electrical regulations and installation standards.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Experience with solar PV, battery storage, EV charging or renewables is beneficial but not essential.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out domestic and commercial electrical installation, maintenance and repair work.
• Complete allocated jobs efficiently and to a high standard.
• Carry out electrical testing, inspection, fault finding and troubleshooting.
• Work on solar PV, battery storage, EV charging and renewable installations.
• Ensure all work complies with current regulations and P Blackhall's quality standards.
• Complete the necessary job documentation and certification.
• Communicate professionally with customers and the wider P Blackhall team.
• Take responsibility for delivering a high standard of workmanship and customer service.
