EP Langage is a CCGT (Combined Cycle Gas Turbine) power station located near Plymouth, Devon in South West England. Total site capacity is 905 MW. High pressure steam system enables market leading efficiency (51.5 %), flexible design is capable of two-shift operation and minimum load, enhancing the plant´s capabilities. The combined cycle provides increased flexibility to National Grid for support and system services helping grid stability.
We are looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Engineer (C&I experience an advantage) to lead and advise the long-term maintenance of the stations HV and LV Electrical systems. Competitive salary and benefits on offer.
Working within the Engineering team at EP Langage Ltd, this role is responsible for the management of the long-term integrity of all HV and LV Electrical systems, ensuring high levels of safety, reliability, technical and legal compliance.
The role will also provide specialist support, guidance and technical advice to the Engineering and Maintenance teams on site electrical systems, as well as oversee long-term planning and through life management (including obsolescence, of site infrastructure and systems).
