Job summary

Suir Engineering Ltd. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support EP&R projects from Sittingbourne, Kent. You will contribute to high/low voltage designs and equipment selection, ensuring safety, quality and project timeliness.

Ideal candidates hold a third-level degree in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of experience and have strong communication skills, plus experience in power and renewables sectors. The role offers growth and international exposure within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Must have a third level degree in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years' experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience working in the power and renewables sector.
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Development and review of schematic drawings and single line diagrams.
• Complying with specific project safety requirements.
• Detailed design covering all aspects of High & Low voltage equipment and control and protection systems.
• Specification, selection, and procurement of equipment.
• Preparation and interpretation of technical specifications and enquiry documentation.
• Assist with the preparation of technical and contract documentation for issue.
• Monitor progress against the program and issue progress reports.
• Prepare method statements and risk assessments.
