Job summary

Crown Peterborough is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to maintain and optimise electrical systems across a high-speed manufacturing plant. You will work to keep production lines running with strong fault-finding and modification capabilities, ensuring safety and reliability.

The role involves analysing line performance, updating PLC software, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to maximise output.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Apprenticeship (or equivalent) in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering is essential.
• Experience in high-speed manufacturing environments is desirable.
• Knowledge of fault-finding techniques and safety standards is required.
• Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimise electrical systems across the plant to minimise production disruption.
• Fault-find, repair, install and modify equipment to keep lines running.
• Analyse line performance and update PLC software to improve output and reliability.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to maximise efficiency.
