Job summary
Randstad CPE is seeking a Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias for our manufacturing facility in Central Peterborough. You will work a rotating 3-shift pattern (06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00 / 22:00-06:00) to minimise downtime, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, and keep production running safely and efficiently.
The role requires an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) and an HNC/HND in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering, with proven experience in a
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent apprenticeship.
- HNC or HND in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering.
- Proven experience as Electrical-biased Maintenance Engineer in manufacturing.
- Willingness to work on a rotating 3-shift pattern.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on automated equipment across all shifts.
- Diagnose faults and repair electrical systems, motors, drives, PLCs.
- Carry out mechanical tasks alongside electrical duties as needed.
- Identify recurring faults and implement improvements to maximise uptime.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations including LOTO procedures.
