Job summary

ARC Group seeks an Electrical Engineer to join their site in Bury St Edmunds on an initial 4-6 month contract. You will support FMCG production and packaging machinery, diagnosing faults and performing planned and reactive maintenance to keep lines running safely and efficiently.

The role involves 12-hour continental shifts on a 28-day rotation, working with a dedicated team to optimise equipment performance and minimise downtime.

Qualifications

• Recognised electrical qualification or formal apprenticeship.
• 18th Edition - BS7671.
• CCNSG or CSC safety certification.
• Experience in FMCG filling/packaging or automated production environments.
• Strong electrical fault-finding and maintenance experience.
• Experience with automated machinery and production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical engineering support across FMCG production and packaging machinery.
• Assist with planned and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Ensure machinery is operated and maintained safely.
• Support production teams to keep equipment reliable and efficient.
