Job summary

Skillmatch Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a Multi Skilled Engineer with an Electrical Bias to join a leading facilities management contractor in the UK. The role focuses on delivering both planned and reactive FM maintenance services across M&E and fabric tasks.

Candidates should hold BS 7671 (18th Edition) and City & Guilds 2391 qualifications, with strong fault-finding abilities, reading drawings, and proficient IT skills. The position is field-based with potential out-of-hours work.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified in electrical installations to BS 7671 (18th Edition).
• Experience with fault diagnosis and repairs on M&E systems.
• Proven experience in FM maintenance or similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete electrical installations, testing, fault diagnosis and repairs to a high standard.
• Undertake planned maintenance tasks for M&E systems and fabric tasks per KPIs.
• Ensure electrical and mechanical site performance is safe and efficient.
• Adhere to Health and Safety policy and maintain housekeeping standards.
• Attend call-outs and breakdowns, including out-of-hours work when required.
