Job summary

Jonathan Lee Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join its Blackburn team. You will maintain and improve electrical services, plant, machinery and equipment, focusing on automation, control systems and continuous improvement within a collaborative engineering department.

The role requires a qualified Electrical Engineer with strong fault-finding skills, five years of relevant experience, and experience with PLCs.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrical Engineer with strong fault-finding capabilities.
• Experience in maintenance and continuous improvement in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of automation and process control would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical services across the site and keep equipment compliant with safety regulations.
• Oversee PAT testing and document audits and compliance requirements.
• Develop and implement machine improvements to enhance performance and reliability.
• Contribute to production automation and process flow improvements.
• Provide breakdown support outside normal hours when needed.
• Support training and development of electrical apprentices and technicians.
