Our Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Electrical Engineer - NVQ Level 3 or BTEC in Electrical Engineering as a minimum
• Shift Electrician, Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Electrician, Shift Engineer
• Experience working on a COMAH site is essential
• CompEx (Ex01-04) & (Ex05-06) qualifications are desirable
• Good understanding of ATEX
• Supervisory experience essential
• Evidence of working on multiple complex jobs simultaneously, prioritising and re-prioritising due to operational changes

In Your Role As An Electrical Engineer

• Maintenance operations – PPM, Reactive, Inspections
• Project work – responsible for the design, specification, and installation of electrical equipment for new installs, maintenance, and upgrading work
• Responsible for supervising the electrical team and any electrical contractors on site
• Acts as a Company Technical Authority on electrical matters
• Liaising at all levels inside the Company and with suppliers, contractors, and agencies such as the HSE & EA
• Maintain and promote a safe operating culture within the Electrical Department, ensuring all personnel operate to the highest levels of Safety, Health & Environmental standards, following company rules and procedures
• Manage the development and training of all electrical personnel
