Job description

Electrical Engineer-Industrial Manufacturing

Our ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Electrical Engineer-NVQ Level 3 or BTEC in Electrical Engineering as a minimum
  • Experience working on a COMAH site is essential
  • Good understanding of ATEX
  • Evidence of working on multiple complex jobs simultaneously, prioritising and re-prioritising due to operational changes

In your role as an Electrical Engineer:

  • Maintenance operations –PPM, Reactive, Inspections
  • Project work – responsible for the design, specification, and installation of electrical equipment for new installs, maintenance and upgrading work
  • Responsible for the supervision of the electrical team and any electrical contractors on site.
  • Acts as a Company Technical Authority on electrical matters.
  • Liaising at all levels inside the Company and with suppliers, contractors and agencies such as the HSE & EA.
  • To maintain and promote a safe operating culture within the Electrical Department, making sure all personnel operates to the highest levels of Safety, Health & Environmental to meet legal and statutory requirements, following company rules and procedures.
  • To manage the development and training of all electrical personnel.
