Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is looking for a Senior Electrical Technician / Electrical Engineer (EV) for a permanent on-site role in Slough. You will design, build and test high‑ and low‑voltage wiring harnesses for specialist EV platforms and support electrical system integration within prototype and production vehicles.

The successful candidate will have high‑voltage knowledge, wiring harness experience, and a background in automotive or similar engineering.

Qualifications

• Background in automotive, marine, aerospace or similar engineering environment.
• Strong attention to detail with documentation and quality awareness.

Slough, Berkshire (Commutable from: Reading, Maidenhead, Windsor, Uxbridge, High Wycombe, Bracknell, Hounslow, Hayes)

Are you an Electrical Engineer or Senior Electrical Technician looking to become the go-to technical specialist in a genuinely unique EV environment, with long-term development and the chance to step up as the business grows?

On offer is a permanent role in a family-run engineering and manufacturing business working on cutting‑edge amphibious electric passenger vehicles, where you'll be supported with ongoing technical development, mentoring from the Electrical Team Lead, and a dedicated learning and development budget.

Due to continued growth and exciting future vehicle development programmes, they are expanding their Electrical Engineering department to strengthen capability across both prototype and production builds.

In this varied position you will design, build and test high‑and low‑voltage wiring harnesses, support electrical system integration, improve technical documentation, and drive quality and continuous improvement across electrical processes.

This role would suit someone with strong high‑voltage knowledge and wiring harness experience, looking for technical challenge, development and clear long‑term progression in a specialist engineering business.
