Job summary

Electrical Engineer – Slough is a role on a large industrial site in Slough, offering £47,000 plus overtime on a Monday to Friday, single-site basis. This position is with a global facilities management provider and aims to deliver planned preventative and reactive electrical maintenance to keep systems compliant and operating at peak performance.

You will join a skilled team responsible for electrical and building services, including lighting, power distribution, AHUs and air conditioning.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Experience working within industrial, manufacturing or heavy commercial environments
• Strong electrical fault-finding and maintenance experience
• Full UK Driving Licence

Responsibilities

• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical maintenance
• Electrical fault finding, repairs and breakdown response
• Maintenance of lighting, power distribution, AHUs and air conditioning systems
• Basic building services maintenance including plumbing and fabric repairs
• Escorting specialist contractors and monitoring safe working practices
• Completing maintenance documentation and ensuring statutory compliance

The Role

As an Electrical Engineer, you'll carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical and building services systems, ensuring the site remains safe, compliant and operating at peak performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical maintenance


• Electrical fault finding, repairs and breakdown response


• Maintenance of lighting, power distribution, AHUs and air conditioning systems


• Basic building services maintenance including plumbing and fabric repairs


• Escorting specialist contractors and monitoring safe working practices


• Completing maintenance documentation and ensuring statutory compliance
