Job summary

Facilitate Search Ltd is recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a busy commercial site in Leeds. You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a wide range of electrical building services to keep systems safe and fully operational.

You will work Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm, with £35,000 per annum plus paid overtime and excellent benefits including 25 days leave, a company pension, life assurance and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical Installation or Electrical Maintenance.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Experience in commercial building maintenance or facilities management.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proactive approach with ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Responding to reactive electrical maintenance tasks.
• Fault finding and repairs on electrical systems.
• Maintenance of lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting, fire alarms and related building services.
• Completing maintenance records using a CAFM system.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and statutory regulations.
• Supporting general building services maintenance when required.

Are you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for a stable Monday to Friday role with a leading facilities management company?

We're recruiting for an Electrical Engineer to join a busy commercial site in Leeds, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a wide range of electrical building services.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for maintaining the electrical infrastructure of a prestigious commercial site, ensuring all systems remain safe, compliant, and fully operational. Working as part of an established engineering team, you’ll deliver high-quality maintenance while providing excellent customer service.
