Job summary

Owen Daniels is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their Projects Team in Keele, near Stoke-on-Trent. The role covers delivering electrical and automation solutions across multiple projects from design and procurement through to commissioning and after-sales support.

You will review schematics, specify and procure control panels and electrical equipment, support FAT and site activities, and collaborate with project managers, suppliers and customers to ensure on-time delivery

Qualifications

• HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience delivering electrical projects in industrial/manufacturing settings.
• Knowledge of electrical schematics, UK standards and instrumentation.
• Strong communicator with customer/supplier facing experience.
• Experience with control systems and control panels.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Be the subject matter experience for all electrical aspects of multiple engineering projects, ensuring delivery to agreed timescales, specifications and budgets.

Review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and project documentation, including control philosophies and equipment schedules working closely with the suppliers.

Specify and procure control panels, instrumentation and electrical equipment while managing supplier performance.

Support factory acceptance testing (FAT), commissioning, troubleshooting and site activities across customer and supplier locations.

Work closely with project managers, sales teams and subcontractors on quotations/bid/costings.

Electrical Engineer

Experience / Skills / Qualifications

HNC/HND or Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.

Experience delivering electrical engineering projects within an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Good understanding of electrical schematics, UK electrical standards and instrumentation.

Confident communicator and capable of being customer/supplier facing

Experience working with control systems/control panels
