Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a global engineering organisation’s Projects Team in Camberley. You will deliver electrical and automation solutions across a portfolio of industrial projects from design through to commissioning and customer support.

This permanent role follows a Monday to Friday pattern with flexible start times and hybrid work (two days remote after probation).

Qualifications

• HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience delivering electrical projects in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Ability to read schematics and UK electrical standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical work on multiple projects within timescales and budgets.
• Review schematics, wiring diagrams and control philosophies with suppliers.
• Specify and procure control panels and electrical equipment; support FAT and commissioning.
• Collaborate with project managers, sales and subcontractors on quotes.

You'll play a key role in delivering electrical and automation solutions across a portfolio of projects, supporting the full project lifecycle from design and procurement through to commissioning and customer support.

Job Description:

• Be the subject matter experience for all electrical aspects of multiple engineering projects, ensuring delivery to agreed timescales, specifications and budgets.
• Review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and project documentation, including control philosophies and equipment schedules working closely with the suppliers.
• Specify and procure control panels, instrumentation and electrical equipment while managing supplier performance.
• Support factory acceptance testing (FAT), commissioning, troubleshooting and site activities across customer and supplier locations.
• Work closely with project managers, sales teams and subcontractors on quotations/bid/costings.

Experience / Skills / Qualifications:

• HNC/HND or Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience delivering electrical engineering projects within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Good understanding of electrical schematics, UK electrical standards and instrumentation.
• Confident communicator and capable of being customer/supplier facing
• Experience working with control systems/control panels
