Job summary

Owen Daniels in Camberley, United Kingdom, is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their Projects Team. You will deliver electrical and automation solutions across a portfolio of projects, supporting the full project lifecycle from design and procurement through to commissioning and customer support.

This is a permanent opportunity with a Monday to Friday schedule and flexible start/finish times.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience delivering electrical projects in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Good understanding of electrical schematics, UK electrical standards and instrumentation.
• Confident communicator and capable of being customer/supplier facing.
• Experience working with control systems/control panels.

Responsibilities

• Be the subject matter expert for all electrical aspects of multiple engineering projects, ensuring delivery to agreed timescales, specifications and budgets.
• Review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and project documentation, including control philosophies and equipment schedules working closely with the suppliers.
• Specify and procure control panels, instrumentation and electrical equipment while managing supplier performance.
• Support factory acceptance testing (FAT), commissioning, troubleshooting and site activities across customer and supplier locations.
• Work closely with project managers, sales teams and subcontractors on quotations/bid/costings.

We're working with a global engineering organisation seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their Projects Team. You'll play a key role in delivering electrical and automation solutions across a portfolio of projects, supporting the full project lifecycle from design and procurement through to commissioning and customer support.
