Job description

We have a brand-new opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to join our MEP division based in our Plymouth office.

Working collaboratively with our South West division, you will be joining a fun, highly engaged team who love what they do. Our team has a wealth of experience and will offer support, development opportunities, and expert advice.

Your role will include:

• Delivering electrical design services for multidisciplinary projects across various building sectors, ensuring quality and a 'right first-time' approach.
• Project setup, briefing, and delivery.
• Attending design team, client, and site meetings.
• Supporting with invoicing, managing WIP, and resource planning.
• Collaborating with the wider MEP team to maintain design quality and consistency.

Our MEP division:

Specialists in energy, sustainability, and engineering design, working across sectors like commercial, industrial, leisure, retail, manufacturing, logistics, heritage, and residential.

• Building performance optimization
• Carbon verification and validation
• Daylight and sunlight studies
• Sustainability benchmarking
• Utility management services

We involve ourselves early in projects, working collaboratively to guide design development and help clients make informed decisions.

To succeed, you will need:

• A degree and/or master's in mechanical engineering or building services engineering.
• Experience as a Mechanical Engineer on UK building services projects.
• Knowledge of BIM, Revit, IES, and other design software.
