Job description

We have a new opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our MEP division based in Plymouth.

Working with our South West division, you will join a dynamic, engaged team with extensive experience, offering support, development, and expert advice.

Your role will include:

• Managing the technical delivery of electrical design services for multi-disciplinary projects across various building sectors.
• Producing design deliverables such as specifications, drawings, and schedules.
• Supporting invoicing, debt chasing, managing WIP, and planning workload and resources for your projects.

About our MEP division:

Our team specialises in energy, sustainability, and engineering design, creating high-performance environments across sectors like commercial, industrial, leisure, retail, manufacturing, logistics, heritage, and residential.

• Optimising building performance
• Implementing carbon verification and validation strategies
• Conducting daylight and sunlight studies
• Performing sustainability benchmarking and environmental assessments
• Providing strategic utility management services

We engage early in projects, collaborating with design teams to guide development and help clients make informed decisions.

Requirements to succeed:

• Degree and/or Masters in mechanical engineering or building services engineering.
• Experience as a Mechanical Engineer on UK building services projects.
• Knowledge of BIM, Revit, IES, and other design software.
