Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems, including emergency light and fire alarm systems.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical faults quickly and effectively.
- Respond promptly to reactive maintenance and emergency electrical issues.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Upgrade and install new electrical systems when required, including sockets and lighting.
- Maintain accurate records of all electrical works and repairs.
- Work closely with site management and clients to provide top-quality service delivery.
What We’re Looking For:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent qualification).
- 18th Edition wiring regulations (Required).
- Proven experience in commercial electrical maintenance and repairs.
- Strong understanding of electrical control systems, fire alarms, and lighting systems.
- Knowledge of health and safety best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues.
Bonus Skills (Desirable but Not Essential):
- Experience working in a facilities management or commercial environment.
- Additional mechanical or HVAC-related qualifications.
- Familiarity with BMS systems.
